Comedy Day is a free annual event at Robin Williams Meadow in Golden Gate Park. In the past 44 years, Comedy Day has hosted comedy greats like Wanda Sykes, Bobcat Goldthwait, Dana Carvey, Margaret Cho and Robin Williams.
The Comedy Party returns this year for a half-hour showcase featuring the top rising comedian in the Bay Area.

Tony Sparks was the legendary host and creator of The Brain Wash open-mic for
18 years. Open year-round, the open mic was a hub for comedians including
Ali Wong, Al Madrigal, Irene Tu, and other Bay Area greats.
The Wash open mic aims to honor the legacy of The Brain Wash and the Bay Area stand-up comedy scene as a whole. Come discover your new favorite comedian as polished veterans perform new material along with hopeful new stars.
